Ok so I probably should be studying right now, but I just realized that that time of the month happens to be my wedding day and I'm never never ever irregular and I know I have a year til the wedding but its bugging me. Im not on the Pill right now-dont know if i should go back on it?? Any advice or am i just freaking out over nothing?? TIA

I should be writing one of my three papers due tomorrow.. but I'd much rather reply to your topic! (I am such a slacker!)

I hadn't even thought about when I would be having my monthly visit.. I probably should have done the math ahead of time! But I'm so irregular, I don't think I would have the luck even if I had planned it right....You definitely have time.. I know now you can alter your visit with the pill, it wouldn't hurt to go back on it. I would chat with your doc about it.. it's an honest question!

Nothing could be more inconvenient!

Go back on the pill, or use the patch like I do.
I am going on a cruise on the 29th and I played around with my cycle so I would be in the clear on my vacation.
I only change my cycle every now and then, so I have never had a problem.

I wouldn't worry about it yet...even if you're a day late or a day early in the next year it will change your cycle in a small way. Maybe let it go for a while then think about it.

I'm on the patch and LOVE IT!! Bst thing ever! I had been on the pill which I was pretty bad about but being on the patch is the easiest thing! So worth it!

I am on ortho evra patch as well; it is extremely easy. You put on for a week for three weeks and on the fourth week you take it off. I would recommend it but if you prefer the pill that is fine too. You can always instead of taking the placebos take another round of the pill or instead of taking the patch off just do another three week round most obgyns say this is fine to do as long as it is not all of the time! I am on the pill as we speak...I will be altering my month visit bc I would have my visit the night of my wedding...I have already spoken to the doctor & she informed me that it was safe to play with it. So maybe you should consider going back on for this year & then you can always come back off of it!

You should get the pill. I've heard if you skip the last week and just start a new pack that you'll actually skip your period that month. I've never done it but I've heard a few girls tell me that it really works!! I'd try it out beforehand tho just to make sure. Worth a shot!!!!!!
