black tie optional

Hi All,

I should know the answer to this since I am already married but I did not have a 'black tie optional' wedding so I need your advice. Saturday night wedding in May with black tie optional..............can i do a knee or 3/4 length black dress????

please help! Thanks so much!

Yes.

I think a woman can wear long or short these days. I have worn formal cocktail-length dresses to black tie and black tie optional events. There will always be ONE person, however, who wears a hoochie-mama dress ad makes herself look foolish.
