Alright Girls - I'm Officially Overwhelmed! (Feeling Better Now!)

Thought this wouldn't happen, but as time gets closer to entering Grad School this wedding is starting to overwhelm me! I'm doing one thing per weekend, but the decisions are killing me! The FI and I sat down and went through our list of vendors for Photography and DJ, and are STUCK!

I couldn't sleep last night b/c I need to book a photographer and DJ by the end of the month.

UGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

OKAY:

SO I TOOK ALL YOUR ADVICE, AND DECIDED WE'RE GOING WITH VINNY FROM HIGH VOLTAGE SOUNDS FOR A DJ, AND HAVE NARROWED DOWN THE PHOTOGRAPHY TO THREE VENDORS! THANK YOU GIRLS!

Oh, I relate to your pain! As my semester is finally winding down (only 2 more finals to go) and work is as stressful as always... I too need a photographer and a dress and a laundry list of other things and my wedding is a few months before yours!

You are not the only one who can sleep at night! I wish I had the answer...but for now it is all about taking it one day at a time and trying to enjoy it as much as possible...it will all come together in the end

just take deep breaths. if no one has bowled you over, keep looking....

or it could be that you are putting TOO much time and looking at TOO many people....it gets overwhelming like that. whittle down your options little by little...create a top 10, then move to top 5, then top 3 and so on....

don't try to pull a #1 out of 15 possiblities...with all of those vendors you've seen, your fav has to be in there!

I know it's overwhelming but things will get done. You still have some time, and if you aren't thrilled with any of your prospects, then keep looking.

I just went through this a couple of nights ago but over finances and what I did was write everything down and I felt a lot better afterwards.
As far as your dilema I would do what I did... pick only 3 vendors for each catagory and just visit them. Try to do all your research on here and then just stick with your gut about the 3 you keep coming back to.

I feel like those are 2 big vendors, and it is so hard to be deciding them both at once... but dont worry, once they were picked it was a lot less stressful and has been smooth sailing (well, not really smooth, but not pull your hair out stressful!)
