Foolish, no. Unless you forsee yourself getting hurt/taking a spill, etc.It all depends what type of party girl you are. A friend of mine had her bachelorette a month before her wedding, got rip roaring drunk, fell flat on her face, and busted her two front teeth, lost them completely. She was in another friends's wedding 2 weeks after the incident, and had to rush to get her new fake teeth.....

I'm having mine Saturday night, which is a week before. I think that's perfectly fine :)

NO! My fiance and I are having our bachelor/ette parties a week before the wedding. You dont want to be hobbling to the alter all hung over with red eyes. Do you have an plans for your party? I'm seeing 'naked boys singing' in NYC. I highly recommend it!

I had the same concern. I was given a choice between the week before the wedding or 3 months before. I chose the 3 months because Im too much of a nervous nelly and didnt want the added stress a week before my wedding. I guess it really depends on what your comfortable with.

why would that be foolish? If I have one at all, it will probably be less than a week b4 my wedding. (out of town MOH)
