we'll just put them through the printer... they have a cardstock insert and vellum overlay.

Well, you sort of have to imagine it, but ... we're having our RD at an Asian fusion restaurant, so what I plan to do is EITHER print the invite on white cardstock with black ink and put the cherry blossom vellum on top with a 1/8' black satin ribbon (the invite would be cut sort of long rather than high) OR print directly onto the vellum (not sure about smearing issues) and adhere the vellum to a piece of white cardstock with spray adhesive or glue dots then add the black ribbon.
