Yeah - found a friend to be my wedding day coordinator!

I had been thinking of hiring someone since my wedding day getting pretty crazy. (We are rehearsing morning of)

We'll my bridesmaid's best friend agreed to do it -- all I had to do was pay for her ticket. :)
And that was a lot less than what a coordinator would charge.

I had been going crazy wondering who would check on certain things.

Is she a wedding planner or a coordinator? I have to be honest, I had a DOC and without experience I dont think just 'anyone' can do it. There are specific things and lingo that you need to know to be able to communicate with other vendors and maitre D to make things go smooth and efficiently. I couldnt believe just how much 'detail' is involved and as organized I am and my friends are- there is no way they would have been able to pull it off without knowing what to do from experience or working with a DOC. You know the basics - make sure favors are upright, guestbook is out- but there is sooooooo much more than that.
They really arent that expensive, they quote you for what you exactly need.
