Diamond white dress = What color tux shirt?

Ladies with diamond white dresses, what color shirt did your FH wear? Should he wear white or ivory?

My dress i sdiamond white to and my consultant at the bridal shoppe said the guys should wear black tuxes.

My dress is diamond whute and my bridal consuktant said that the shirt and everything that is white that the guys are gonna wear should be silk white as well as your veil and your shoes

I would say white, maybe even a white tie...for the groom. Diamond white isn't ivory. I don't think ivory will match your dress. You should ask the salesperson at your bridal shop.

you really really REALLY need to get a swatch of your dress and bring it to the tux shop. I wore a diamond white (silk satin) dress from Eve of Milady and I was convinced the guys had to wear 'cream'/'off-white'. The tux shop insisted I get a swatch, what a PITA to go get one but when I brought the swatch in there was NO WAY the guys could wear the off white shirt. The white was so much a better match!

So please, ask for a swatch at your first fitting and use that as your judge, otherwise you really won't know!

Our tux shop said white is the best with diamond white so that is what we did....I am not too nervous about it matching exactly! I am sure it will be fine.
