A different save the date idea

FH and I went to AC MOORE and saw these save the date bookmarks- you make them yourself on the computer but they are the cards, the tassles, and the envelopes too-

they could/would read something like

Your'e Booked!

and all the necessary info

I like them but FH thinks that the magnets are better because people can see it all the time wheras the bookmarks people may stick in a draw and forget about it

I liked them because they were different than what I have seen...they are cute and they fit i am a language arts/reading teacher

WHat's your opinion? What do you like better?

we didnt buy them but he said if i really like them we could!

i think it's a very cute idea ... different!!! BUT, I do agree w/ fh where if its a magnet, people will always see it ...

when you got it did you use it? throw it in a draw? put on refrig til invite came?

I did the STD magnets, and people loved them.

i love the magnets too but i really like the bookmarks too- and i havent seen them so i thought it would be different...but i dont know what others would like better

keep your opinions coming, as honest as possible

if you think they are stupid tell me! i wont be hurt...

If someone sent me a bookmark save the date I would post it on my fridge - so I say go for it! After the date it may be used or put away somewhere. Cute idea!!

Why not get the bookmarks and hot glue magnets on the back, this way people can choose what to do with them, and it will big a nice big comprimise with you and FH, you'll both get what you want!!

i agree too, but i do read alot and i'm always looking for a bookmark!!! either way i don't think you can go wrong

That's what I did...





Sonic Stef did the design, and I stamped the designs on the bookmarks. I used embossing powder and a heat gun so the lettering looks raised. They came out great!

I like the idea about putting the magnets on the back of the bookmarks...if not people can always put them on their fridge anyway. If reading is important to you then I say go for it. I think it's cute and a different idea.

I think it is a great idea. 2 uses as a STD and then after as a bookmark. I love it!! Go for it!!
