Photo Thank You Cards Q.

Hi,

For those of you who used a photo on the front of your thank you cards did you order them from an online store such as shutterfly and if so can you share details?

I ordered mine from my photographer but I am pretty sure they actually use shutterfly.

Thank you and we have the same photographer so maybe I will just ask them...did they give you choices of the type of cards you could use?

It was either the standard that you with the wallet sized photo inside or the 'hallmark' style ty where the whole front of the actual card is the picture.

Thanks for the info...just want to keep on top of things as I am at the one month mark today and know it will be the 3 month mark before I know it...thanks a lot.

I made mine on Shutterfly from a pic one of our guests took. I didn't get them through my photographer..i believe he wanted an extra $500 to do the cards.

Shutterfly will print their name and logo and I think even a barcode on all their cards. If your photographer is printing from shutterfly, it would be obvious.

Shutterfly is not known for their photo quality so I'd be surprised if a pro photographer used them.

I ordered from them in the past and they did a good job for the price but they are hit are miss. Ive gotten bad stuff from them too.

this is nice for an outside cover of a card

my photographer wanted about 300 for 100
cards... i already spend all the money before the wedding, so that was out of the picture...

I also plan on ordering mine from Shutterfly. I did order just one first to see how it came out and if there was anything I wanted to change. I'm glad I did, I need to tweak something first. Photographers charge too much and I think the pics from Shutterfly are just as nice.

My photographer provided them -- she printed them herself using her high quality printer.

I could be mistaken. I remember awhile back when they showed me a sample card it had a logo on the back and I was pretty sure it was shutterfly. Maybe that was only an example card???

I will find out next week and let you know!
