Songs for your video?

You would think once the wedding was over all the decisions had been made....but then it comes to the photos and video...

So where do I start with selecting songs for the video?

I know we will be including our first dance song but after that I am clueless as I love sooooooooooo many songs...so many in fact I only gave our d.J a list of three 'must play' songs at our wedding....otherwise we would still be there....

Any ideas of where I should start and how you whittled down your fave songs to just three??

We were told to only pick 3 songs. We did not pick out first dance song since it will already be played on the video during the first dance and we didnt want the same song on the video twice since we only get 3 songs.

We also were told to pick four songs. One for the montage of childhood pictures. Then, one for the cocktail hour, the recap and one for our honeymoon pictures.

The rest were all his own instrumental choices. Of course, there was stuff the DJ was playing and our special dances.

We picked 3 songs. They added I think 2 more, but they were all songs from our wedding CD favor.
