Re: Sort of wedding related: Printers

i have the cannon i560.... its a photo printer as well. We printed EVERYthing wedding related (we made our own invites, bookmarks, programs, adresses invites, E-party invites)... you name it, we printed it. Honestly, this printer is still going strong, and we've put it through hell with all that we've done So i'd highly recommend it. Also, our Ink lasts forever on this thing! we did more than half of that stuff (minimum) before we even had to get another cartridge

Re: Sort of wedding related: Printers

We bought a new printer for the wedding - to print out programs and menus, invitations for the rehearsal dinner, etc. We still have it and love it and it works as good as it did they day we got it.
HP psc 2410xi Photosmart (all in one - printer, fax, scanner, copier)

great advice! the Espon is what I initially wanted, until I found out that it needs 6 ink cartridges at a time! Epson had the nicest color quality out of all the one's I have seen so far. but 6 cartridges? ick!

That's the printer that I have been using as well.

There are only 4 ink cartridges (black, magenta, yellow, and cyan). To replace them, it is usually less than $15 each. And you can replace them separately.

In my experience, Epson printers seem to go through a LOT of ink. I had one at work, and since I do a lot of printing I found I was replacing the cartridge every 3 weeks or so. I finally switched to an HP, and now I replace the cartridge every 3 months.

Re: Sort of wedding related: Printers

actually... that might save you $$ in the long run... because it only runs out of one color at a time... when sometimes the printers that have just a color cartridge (which has 3 colors inside it) might just run out of blue for example... well you have to throw out the entire cartridge and waste a lot of ink... does that make sense??

we also have the epson 2200 at school (that is the one with the 6 cartridges)... not so fond of that printer... it worked a couple times to print beautiful photos on photo paper, but now it has been streaking and making lines, so i would stay away from the 2200...
