No you don't need an appointment. Just go to the counter. There may be a line.

Re: Registering at Fortunoff's
We walked in on a busy Sat afternoon just to get it over with, no appointment nothing and we walked around by ourselves. Enjoy!! I would do it in store but after you set up an account you can do the rest online. Have Fun!!

Re: Registering at Fortunoff's
No appt. necessary, just go to the counter in the Bridal registry area of the store. And the best thing is you can add items and edit your registry online. Have fun!

I agree with trying to avoid the weekend if you can. Unless you get there when they first open. They tend to run out of the scanners pretty quickly on the weekends.
Good luck and have fun!

We went on the weekend , but when they first opened and it was fine.
I would recommend going in person if possible, because not everything is on the website and I was told that I had to make changes online once I was finished with the in-store registry. That could be wrong, but that is what the woman who checked me in told us.
