Designer Bags BM, MOH Gifts
Ok.....not sure about this one. What is anyone's opinion.I am paying for the BM and MOH hair. I would like to get everyone a gift too.
I met a woman who works near me who sells Coach, LV, etc. bags (good quality, but knockoffs).
What would anyone think of receiving one of these bags as a gift?
Obviously, I would love to buy the real thing...but way too pricey. I am thinking of going to see what the woman has for selection and choosing a few purses and/or wallets.
Let me know your thoughts. I am having a tough time coming up with good BM and MOH gifts. I really do not want to get jewelry since that is such a personal 'taste'.
Help.....

Well then just buy them nice purses, not knock offs of a brand

Re: Designer Bags BM, MOH Gifts
I think it might be slightly inappropriate as a gift to give a knockoff bag, but if you really love this idea than a better idea might be to have the pocketbook woman come to your home to have a mini party and let everyone pick their own bag out. That way they can at least pick out the ones they like.

Re: Designer Bags BM, MOH Gifts
if you get good knockoffs they too can be about 100.00 if not more... i have a knockoff and real Louie- and there are slight differences that noone would notice unless they had the two in front of them to compare...I think you if you want to do purses it is not a bad idea, I personally dont love the idea for a BM gift... JMO

Ooooooh, that sounds like a good idea. It would be fun for your bridesmaids too. Like a thank you get-together, only they get to leave with a purse

I personally don't like knock offs no matter how good they are. I'd rather have a less expensive non-branded bag.

What about the Coach outlets? You can get some really good deals there -- especially when they're having a sale.

Re: Designer Bags BM, MOH Gifts
If you can get a good knock-off..you may be better off getting a coach knock-off rather than a LV knock off....LV is a little to obvious that it is fake,,,know what I mean???
Good Luck sweetie..........

I agree. I don't think you should give knock offs as a gift. Well, I guess it depends on the people. If the label is that important to someone then get them a knock off. I buy brand name because the quality seems so much better. Its really up to you.

Re: Designer Bags BM, MOH Gifts
If it was a good quality knockoff I would really like it....Everyone is different though, maybe you know your bridal party well enough to know if it is something they would be interested in....But if I was in your bridal party I would like it and not think it was inappropriate at all
