I did it too! Monograms!
Thanks to the LIW ladies who offered their help on how to make these. I had made attempts prior and gave up but did some playing around last nite and finally got somewhere.Just wanted to show you guys. Like I said, just playing around.
Now I have a question. Are you suppose to use your soon-to-be initial? I thought it wasnt proper since technically you arent married yet. At the same time, who cares right? As long as it looks nice
The last one has the arrow on it,
Oops!

Re: I did it too! Monograms!
Thanks guys! Hey leese...Great job!
Kissy, heres what u do.
The grouping was confusing me too.
You have to right click on the textbox and it shows options. Mine had group but nothing to change then I saw 'order' underneath and it has 4 options(bring to front, bring to back, etc.) Thats how I figured out how to overlay the letters.
Try that!

I wouldn't use FH's name or initial until after I am married. I am too superstitous. IMO, it isn't my name or initial until the license is signed and the power vested in the Rabbi, by the State of NY says so! However, if you are making mongrams for your wedding day then by all means enjoy!!! They all look great!

I've heard that too. What if you used an '&' until the wedding and the new initial after? Same look...changes over seemlessly!

I like the idea of an ampersand instead of an initial BEFORE the wedding and the new initial from the day of the wedding on. After all, that is when the two families becomes one.
