Wearing a veil but having your hair-do show?

I've seen some pictures of brides who have really pretty updos...and it shows! It isn't completely covered by the veil....

I really like that idea...even though I've sought of thought I was sold on the low bun thing.

It almost looks as if the veil is attached INTO the middle of the hair...so the top part shows....and the veil covers the lower part.

Anyone have pictures showing this combo?

Well I kinda had my hair up/half down, it was more up but with cascading curls.

I had a drop veil inside of a regular veil, because I really wanted the hair style to stand out and not be hidden by the veil.

Not great photos, since they don't resize well and are table cameras, but you might get the idea.

Barrons makes veils on a stick (curved metal). It gets stuck in the middle of the updo so that you can see some of the top of the updo. It's really easy to pull out if you dont want to wear your veil during the reception.

my veil will be under my high curl up-do because I don't want to cover it up

I also wanted to make sure that the hair was seen under the veil (after all the trouble with countless hair trials!)
