1. People who talk on their phones while working out.
2. People who do not whip their sweat off the machines.
3. People who take over 2 weight machines at once.
4. I don't think that it is right to build a gym over a pizza place. I go to one of the midtown NYSC's and it always smells like pizza. It's just cruel IMO.

Yes, Definitely talking on the cell phone.....that annoys the crap outta me. Talk to them before you come in, is it that much of a big deal???????!
Another one is when two friends are chattin, chattin, chattin away, real loud for the rest of the world to hear.......that annoys me as well.....no reason to chit chat that loud, you're exercising nothing but your mouth!!!!!!!

My pet peeve is when I can feel the girls next to me on the treadmill looking at how fast I'm going etc., almost like it's a competition...

LOL, YES thats another one........I can always see by the corner of my eye how they are looking over at my info!!! Especially the times, b/c at my gym we're technically supposed to be on it 1/2 hour at a time, and when I sign up for an hour, I feel they are being a bit too NOSEY

That's one for me too. Those monsters usually leave all their weights on the machine too, and don't often wipe it down.
REALLY stinky people is another one. Yeah, we all sweat and some stink is involved, but I'm not talking normal BO. I'm talking about the people (usually guys) who smell like they've been wearing the same clothes all week.

I can't stand when someone uses a machine next to me and they reek of cologne! There are so many men and women in my gym who shower with perfume/cologne before they work out. It's gotten so bad that I have had to move away from them!

Hahahahahaha!!!! DH would totally LOVE you for saying this! He HATES flip flops in the first place, but flip flops in the gym makes him absolutely crazy!
My pet peeves are people that talk on their cell phone while on the cardio machines (are you really THAT important?) or people who just have conversations with other people while on the cardio machines. Shut it already!

I HATE this If it is that heavy, you shouldnt be lifting it, you will give yourself a hernia.
I hate when the meatheads DONT put their weights away. I guess they are too cool too
People who also dont wipe the machines down.
Girls who wear NOTHING to th egym.
High school boys who walk around and think their $hit dont stink.

The Gold's gym near me in MD is in a shopping mall, and it is right across from a Cinnabon. I always thought that was so mean. Also, the front is completely glass, so the people sitting and eating Cinnabon can watch the people working out. So unfair...

Ok...I actually saw a woman at the gym tonight in flip flops!!! I read this post just TODAY and could NOT believe it...then...I get to the gym and there she was...marching away on the step!
Oh...and she must have just come from a pedicure - there was the rolled up papertowel in between her toes!!!

That's hysterical!
I hate seeing 'personal trainers' train incorrectly. Some of them let their clients perform their set with such bad form that they will either hurt themselves, or just get no results at all and are waisting their time and money!
