Oh...totally the cell phone thing!!! I just don't get it!!! Why bother going to the freakin' gym!!!

1. People who talk on their phones while working out.
2. People who do not whip their sweat off the machines.
3. People who take over 2 weight machines at once.
4. I don't think that it is right to build a gym over a pizza place. I go to one of the midtown NYSC's and it always smells like pizza. It's just cruel IMO.
The Gold's gym near me in MD is in a shopping mall, and it is right across from a Cinnabon. I always thought that was so mean. Also, the front is completely glass, so the people sitting and eating Cinnabon can watch the people working out. So unfair...

Ok...I actually saw a woman at the gym tonight in flip flops!!! I read this post just TODAY and could NOT believe it...then...I get to the gym and there she was...marching away on the step!Oh...and she must have just come from a pedicure - there was the rolled up papertowel in between her toes!!!

That's hysterical!
I hate seeing 'personal trainers' train incorrectly. Some of them let their clients perform their set with such bad form that they will either hurt themselves, or just get no results at all and are waisting their time and money!

I also hate it when people drink their coffee while working out. Coffee is the last thing I want when breaking a sweat.

How about woman who are overweight that were see through white spandex pants and arent as nice as the one's who wear the black thong underneath. YUCK!!!Or the young girls who roll their shorts up from the waist that cause their a$$ cheeks to hang out.
Or the young girls who pull their thong up so that it is around their waist.
I agree with the people who love to chat or ask you to move to another treadmill while your in the middle of running so that their friend can be next to them so they can chat the whole time!!

the girls that dont need to work out ..and have their cellphone attached to their ear..and hog all the good machines and pretend they work out WOW I JUST FREAKED OUT....that felt good...ahahahha that is also my pet peeve

I can't stand when someone uses a machine next to me and they reek of cologne! There are so many men and women in my gym who shower with perfume/cologne before they work out. It's gotten so bad that I have had to move away from them!
I prefer the cologne over the reek of BO - it's like some of these guys don't shower for 6 days and then come to the gym for three hours. GROSS.

I've got some new ones.1 All the parking spots are taken - except those handicapped spots out front by the door. So I drive around to the back and WAIT A MINUTE - color me ignorant, but why are there handicapped spots outside the gym?
2 There are 2 older women (50+). They have OK bodies, but they are under the impression that they are build like Brittany spears (pre Kevin). They are they only 2 people in sports bras and snug bike shorts They make sure that everyone sees them hug before and after class. I don't need hugs before my butt and gutt class, why do they???Makes me want to lob a fit ball at them just to hear the plastic hollow thud
3 Ahhh - schools out. You know what that means - yup - gym managers get to bring their kids to work. And To keep the little animals from jousting with the fit bars - they heat up buttered popcorn in the utility closet microwave. Now anyone who works in an office with a microwave knows it takes hours for the smell of buttered popcorn to dissipate after some hump in payroll decides he needs a 3 o'clock snack break. Imagine that for your entire class - hmmmm buttered popcorn and a gym full of sweaty people who are already pissed that they couldn't get a parking spot. an invitation for mayhem

When the guys drop their weights and make the ground shake.women who don't sweat and look like they actually did the 'work' part of work out
I too hate the naked people in the locker room.
the women who elbow you so you don't take their 'spot' in their class.

I do have one more.......BAD BREATH!When the person next to me on the treadmill has the worst Garlic breath, and the fans blow it constantly my way directly to my nose. Its just so nasty

When I go to a class and put my step down and get some weights this stupid lady puts her step like right on top of me when there is a HUGE room and they can go anywhere...i refuse to move b/c i was there 1st so if i kick he duing kickboxing it is her own damn fault!Idiots!

Sorry guys!! I am one of those cell phone people!! when I was planning the wedding I was so busy and I would call my friends to catch up - it also helped me pass the time while I walked or was on the bike
But this one used to annoy me So much. The girls who were already thin with great bodies that would come in their cute matching workout gear with their hair done and a full face of makeup , jewlery, everything. Do a lap around the gym holding a bottle of water. Walk on the treadmil for like 5 minutes. Stretch, and leave!!!!
It was soooooooooo obvious she was just there to try to pick up a guy or scope out any cute ones!! and she did this ALL the time!!
I mean the gym wasn't cheap.. you pay that much just to meet a guy?!?!!?!?

I'd have to say:
1. the girls who hog up a million weights before a class begins
2. the girls who buddy up w/ everyone in class and act like the gym is their own personal social club
I hate when they take a million weights. Like, must you have a set of 2, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15 for one class???

LOL...I grunt and groan when I do weights!
You kinda need to when you get to that point where the next rep seems like it isnt gonna happen
For some reason, making those noises get it done.
