Brooklyn Botanical Garden Brides..anyone?..

My parents went to a wedding there and the groom was so mad because the cake was CARDBOARD! They didn't tell them that the cake would be fake and that they had a sheet cake in the back, so they couldn't cut the cake!

If any of you girls are getting married there make sure you check that out! Just a heads up!

They did not realize the place was going to do this, they told them they take care of the cake it was decorated the way they wanted, but it was cardboard

You'd be surprised to how many places do this. It's actually VERY cost efficient. What they're NORMALLY supposed to do is make the whole thing cardboard, except for a specific section that can be cut and eaten. Then, they drag it away and serve the exact same cake, in a sheet form.
