I have heard of a warranty expiring, but a recall? (car question)

Poor FH bought a certified used vehicle last year. He got an extended warranty and the vehicle has 1 other owner. However there was a recall when the vehicle was under the original owner who did not have it fixed. FH found out about it because the inside of his car is getting flooded, but they told him that the recall expired at 40,000 miles, when FH bought the vehicle at 50,000 miles. I never heard of that...anyone else? Unfortunately the dealership will not fix the recall and the build up of water is damaging his car!

If it is a recall, they should fix it no matter what the milage is on it. Call the company hq and get the recall info for that car. Then ask how to fix it.

just keep calling and harassing, talk to everyone you can, don't give in and make sure you write down their name and title - eventually they will fix it just to shut you up.....
