Saw the Dr today.....(NWR)
And there is NOTHING wrong w/ me to make me have such a hard time breathing. The Dr did an EKG and it came back fine and also a blood sugar test and that was fine too so.... looks like Im just plain old nuts....hahaSeriously, he thinks it stress and anxiety w/ weddingplans, buying a place, ending the school year etc. So I promised to 'take it easy'. So Matt took me out tonite and got me drunk (does that count???)

Glad nothing is wrong -- scary how stress can manifest itself.

Re: Saw the Dr today.....(NWR)
I am glad to hear that the doctors say their is nothing wrong....but also suggest that if the problem persists that you get a second opinion. Too many times doctors make you think it is in your head, when it is not. As an asthmatic I know that breathing (or the inability to breathe) is nothing to take lightly!!Try to take it easy, we want you feeling good!!

I knew it, but, am also very relieved nothing is wrong. And yes, getting drunk counts!
Your life has changed in a matter of months, the body needs to 'react' somehow.
I went throught the same thing when Jess (MOH) got married - I was an internal basketcase.
Lets be sure to chat this weekend. We can exchange stress stories
, and catch up. Love you,
The future Mrs. J.O.

That's really good news!! You have a lot going on, so I can totally see how anxiety and stress could play a part. I bet also not knowing what was causing your breathing probems made you more nervous, and it becomes a cycle. Now you'll just have to force yourself to schedule some spa visits and relax a little more!

Phew! I'm glad to hear your good news. Everybody is right, stress just builds up inconspicuously, and causes all sorts of trouble. It's always good to be safe than sorry, so a second opinion would be worth it. Also, how many days til the end of the school year? Your almost there! What about planning a little getaway as a reward for all your hard work?

Michele, I'm so glad to hear that all is well and nothing serious is going on. Stress totally makes sense because you do have lots going on. Once school is over for you, I would take a nice breather and relax a bit. You surely deserve it!! Hang in there and try to be less stressed...though I know with all of this planning to do, it's so hard. Having a nice drink or two does help...LOL. Well, glad to hear that all is somewhat wel and you are okay

I'm glad your ok!!!! Maybe you should try meditation and take a class that will teach you breathing techniques so when you are stressed and feel another attack coming on you can try to stop it???

I have the same problem. and it do think its stress related and the more you think about it the worse it gets. Sometimes i have such breathing problems for days. It stinks. We all just need to relax.
Im glad its nothing serious.
