NWR-Attn: F/T Graduate Students & College Students: What are you doing this summer for work?

I just graduated with my Master's in Education and I am trying to find work for this summer. I was curious to find out what you gals are up to this summer....

If anyone knows a good place that is hiring, please feel free to respond to this post or FM me to let me know!

I just graduated with a BA in Adolescence ED in Social Studies...I was lucky enough to get a job as an intern with the DOE...try summer schools or camps

Yes, well....I actually WAS looking into a job working with kids with disabilities this summer but I found out today that they placed me to work with kids in 6th grade to adults 21 years old when I requested to be working with Elementary kids (because that is where I have the most experience). So, basically I am kind of confused as to what to do. I'm wondering if office work is the way to go instead....

I'm working for a summer rec program in my local school district 9:30-12:30 for 6 weeks money is decent, its such a great summer job.. where do u live?

my FH and I just graduated with a BS in Music Education...we are working with special ed children this summer....and will continue working in september there....

My FH has a BS in Childhood Education, and is working as a teacher/coach at Stony Brook University's summer camp this summer. It's not the greatest pay, but it's in his field, and he loves the people he works with.

He's done it the past 2 years as well, and really enjoyed himself.

I think all employees are hired already though, because they start on June 27th.
