bridal shop problem

Girls does this sound right to you?
My dress is in but its too early for my first fitting. So I called and asked if I could come in and look at the dress to make sure it was the right one..they told me that I had to pay for it in full before I could see it!!

Are they crazy or is it me????

I was able to see my dress when it came in, I don't have to put the final payment until my first fitting. I would question them on that!!

I had to pay AFTER I viewed and checked out my dress. I'm sure they will let you see the dress before you pay for it. Once you get there, just demand that you see it.

Hmm I dunno. I was told that my dress was in and had to pay for it within 30 days.. I told them I was having my fittings done there and they had a tone of other issues, but I'm glad I got it.. It could be their policy

I would NOT pay for it before seeing it! My dress came in way early, but it was WRONG, TWICE!! It's back at the designer for the third time now to be corrected. It's very frustrating and i'm nervous it will never be right. It's a big lack of communication between the store, the designer, and the factory actually making the dress overseas. Anyway, it's a good thing I am checking it out before paying - because pretty soon I'm going to refuse to pay any more at all! The annoying part is that the store should look at the dress and realize it's wrong - not waste my time coming down there to look at it over and over. oh well...

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?? that is BS! why would they charge you BEFORE you see it?!

Kleinfelds took a credit card number from me when I ordered my dress and charged the balance the DAY it came in! Obviously, before I had a chance to even see it. It was strange to me, but thought that was standard practice so I didn't question anything! Now I feel like an idiot.....

that sound like my problem to i am not alound to go see my dress until my first fitting and i think that ********. i paid for it i should be able to see it.
