Is anyone else having a hard time keeping the details of your dress from your FI?
I bought my dress the other night and was so excited and it pratically killed me that I couldn't talk with my FI. I tell him everything and it was so hard for him to see my excitement and not be able to share it with him.Plus, we're both terrible at keeping surprises, we even give each others birthday gifts early because we can't stand the suspense!
It's going to be a long year! LOL

I am having a hard time not telling him about the dress I love (I haven't ordered anything yet), especially since every time his mother sees me she asks me about it and he's usually there.

It has been hard! I sort of show him the shape of other dresses that are similiar to my style!

I took pics then I ordered them and Deleted them. well the pics came in today and the 1st thing i said to him was you did not open it becasue I dont want you to see the dress

Id love to tell him but thats the one thing I was able to do without him and his input. All he knows is that it covers my tattoo.

I'd love to show him pics and tell him, it's killing me!!! I really don't want him to see it and he doesn't either, but it's so hard to keep it from him!!!Just keep focused on other aspects of the wedding and the year should pass quickly, that's what I'm trying to do!

My FH seen a pic of the dress which is not a big deal in my opinion he doesn't know allthe detailing that is on the dress and he d oes not know what it looks like on me he just happend to see it as I was showing a pic to his mom

He originally wanted to see it, and offered to go dress shopping with me... How did I get so lucky to have a guy who actually likes to shop?
But after I made my decision, he changed his mind and said he didn't want to see it till that day.. I really want to show him, but I guess I'll wait...

he has asked me a few time and i havent cracked - he tried to get my when i was drunk also the only thing i did show him was the head peice i want.....

Strangely, this isn't hard for me... at least not yet. FI knows it's white and strapless. But both of us want it to be a surprise... he's like a kid on Christmas morning!

He asked me when I was showing his sister and mom the dress. But it really hasn't been too hard. He really hasn't bothered me about it!

It was hard at first, but then after I showed my parents and other family and friends, I don't really feel the need to show him anymore. If I look up pics of it online to look at it, I have to do it when he's not around. Sometimes I wonder when I'm looking at other LIW brides' dresses if he thinks I've slipped up and am looking at my dress!

He really doesn't want to see til that day, but I am worried he won't like it. He'll see some pictures over my shoulders in magazines and be like eww...but he swears that he won't be paying any attention to the dress on our wedding day, that he'll be so excited and happy just to see me. How sweet is that!

We're the same way!!! I'm not going to make it and he and i know it - i kinda already told him about some of what the dress looks like - but i've been suprisingly good so far!! really the only thing holding me back is i dont like the way the dress looks in the photo - its gorgeous in person and it just doesnt look the same in the catalogue/website.
I always give him his gifts early too, but i'm getting better about it!
ETA: originally he was going to come shopping with me b/c he knows i was very stressed about shopping just me and my mother since we have very different taste but i wanted to suprise him - he did buy me all my bridal magazines and sat with me looking at dresses but my dress is nothing at all like the pics i showed him so he's imagining a totally different dress - but he said as long as its white and i love it i'll be gorgeous and he'll be happy!!

I slipped once and told him it was strapless BUT he probably forgot or he just doesnt want me to think he remembers cause I was soooooooooo upset i slipped about it.He doesnt ask and I dont tell because I know I will crack!
