Past Brides: When did your videographer start filming on your wedding day?

Did they film you getting ready or did they start their work at the ceremony?

Thank you

Re: Past Brides: When did your videographer start filming on your wedding day?

9 times out of 10...they will film you getting ready, makeup, hair (if in one place).

when they say they capture your day...they mean every part of it (not going to the bathroom though )

unless of course you dont want them too

I'm not a past bride but I know my videographer doesn't show up until the ceremony. Only my photographer will be there for me getting ready.

As hot as I look at 6am while getting make up and hair done, I might have to pass on that.

Re: Past Brides: When did your videographer start filming on your wedding day?

We had to pay extra for them to take footage at the 'Brides Home'... we opted for that because I like how it comes out in the video.

He came at 1pm with the photographer and started filming then.

Re: Past Brides: When did your videographer start filming on your wedding day?

I didn't even know that this was going to happen. I was clueles..but my videographer and photog were there at my aunts house while I was getting dressed. He filmed while the photographer was taking pics and in between. It was quite funny, some stuff you can never get back and the comments we all made while taking pictures could be made into a comedy show. Glad we did it.

Re: Past Brides: When did your videographer start filming on your wedding day?

I had video and photo there when I was getting ready but after my hair and makeup was done. I recommend it. You should hear all the dumb things I was saying while getting ready. I don't even remember saying them

We had the same thing. Our videographer went to the church early to film the church, DH, GM & his family arriving and then me, BMs and my family arriving before he went into church to film the mass.

Re: Past Brides: When did your videographer start filming on your wedding day?

My videographer interviewed me as we were getting ready and while I was getting makeup put on. 'how are you feeling, what you think FH is feeling, etc.' When we got to the hall, she interviewed the guys while they were waiting. It was awesome and I love it.

Re: Past Brides: When did your videographer start filming on your wedding day?

We took pictures before the ceremony and it didn't make sense for the video to be there for that. So, ours started at the church.

I didn't even want the photographer there as I was getting ready, but I lost that argument.

Re: Past Brides: When did your videographer start filming on your wedding day?

My Photographer and Videographer went to my DH's house first at 10:00 a.m. and then they came to me 1:00 p.m. for the 'getting ready' pictures (but I was already dressed, I didn't wanted any pictures in my undergarments) and so he took pictures of me finishing up getting ready.

My DH and I were about 45 mins away from each other - that's why for streach in time.

Same here ... I just wasn't up for the entire filming me while in my undergarments while my MOH and Mom helped me get ready ... that is just not me

But wait .. oh yeah Duet did actually start filming me while I was walking around in the hotel suite, looking at my flowers, and killing time before everyone else showed up. This was after my makeup and hair was done and while I was still in my Soon 2 be Hoodie but with my tiara and veil on

.. at that point I was pretty much by myself, talking to myself.. yup talk about compelling video footage (most of which wound up on the cutting room floor and NOT in the finished product )
