Are there any High School English teachers here, I have a question about RAMP UP....

I have been offered a job and I have nervously accepted one as a Literacy Coach. It has been a number of years since I have followed recent trends in education b/c I have been teaching at a Private school that does its own traditional thing which works very well for the students we have.

However, I know the DOE changes trends like underwear and this high school uses Ramp Up. I will be going for training but am wondering if any of you ladies can give me some insight on the program and my position.
