Small Wedding reception 75-100
Hi everyone,
I actually just got engaged last week and found this site and its great!!
I wanted to get everyone's thoughts and advise on small receptions, like good locations (not too expensive) etc. Has anyone priced Flowerfields cocktail room for a small wedding (75 to 100)? I'm curious to see what they charge for that room.. I was also thinking about 21 main, its also owned by lovin oven, and accomodates small weddings..
Thanks!!!

I don't see why flowerfield would do that. Its one wedding at a time so if they have you taking up the CH room they loose money on having a bigger wedding taking up the whole place
Jericho Terrace Metropolitan Chateu La Mer Sandcastle Thatched Cottage Riviera Westbury Manor
all have rooms that can accomodate that amount.

I had my engagement party at the Bellport country club. I really liked it there and so did my guests.

My wedding is small, too. I'm only having about 75 people. My reception is at the Snapper Inn.
You might also want to try Danfords, the Three Village Inn or Chateau La Mer (those were other places we considered).

The Watermill lowered the minimum for us for the Astor Room to 100 because we are getting married during the day on a holiday Monday, July 4th.
FM me for price.

Re: Small Wedding reception 75-100
HI! We are having around 75 people, and the following places had a 75 person minimum:
Manor East www.manoreast.com
Stewart Thomas Manor (not sure of website)
Milleridge Carriage House and Inn itself (I think www.milleridge.com)
Verdi's (not sure of website)
Hope this helps! :)
(and I'm sure there are more places, but we are on a tight budget)

I second GWM. It's perfect for a wedding your size. It was my second choice but is too small for my 140 person guest list.

Three Village Inn has great food!!! Also look into the Harbor Club in Huntington, and Areca Restaurant in Plainview as they host 1 party at a time and cater to smaller affairs.

Re: Small Wedding reception 75-100
When I was looking for my e-party (for about 100 people), I found that most catering halls can accomodate both large and small parties. For example, I'm having my e-party at a site where their smallest room holds about 75 and the largest hold 1,000. Go onto the vendors listings here under "Reception sites" as well as the websites some of the other LIW brides are recommending. You can start narrowing down from there. Good Luck!!!!

This room at the Watermill is called the Bostonian. I just had my wedding there 2 weeks ago and it was AWESOME. We had about 70 guests and it was perfect. We also had it during the day on Saturday. It was PERFECT.

FLowerfield will not do it. I would check out Fox Hollow, Westbury Manor, Jericho Terrace, Riviera, Metropolitan (they have the downstairs lounge and room for smaller affairs).
