Forest Hills GTG - Thursday July 28th @ 7pm. Place: TBD

Thursday July 28th was the big winner on our poll, so that's going to be the date of the GTG. Please let me know if you're coming, and if you have any suggestions of where to go.

I've lived in Forest Hills for a year, but I still haven't been to that many of the restaurants, so I definitely need ideas!

I can't wait to meet all of you!

That works for me! Unless I get a night time job (which I am working on) and I have to work, I will SO be there!!!

I have lived in the area for 5+ years, and there are still many places I have not been, so I am open to anything!!

I love Portofinos - it's one of my favorite places. What is 5 burros like? I've never been there.

Oh, and 5 burros is the greatest mexican food place on earth. Their frozen margaritas are liquid crack. But, it is very small and usually a pretty decent wait. I've never gone with this many people- maybe they'd reserve the back for us? Not sure.

Portofino is fine too, just sort of pricey. Family is down the block and equally as good IMO and definitely cheaper, just as another option.

I've been wanting to try The Family Restaurant...another good idea.

I'll give 5 burros a call and see how they handle large groups - it sounds like a great place!

This is going to be a fun mix of long-time LIWers and newbies! I can't wait to meet everyone!
