Going to a wedding at CLM..Updated with pics!

Going to a wedding at CLM..Updated with pics!

on Sunday!! I wont be around this weekend, FI and I are going to Fire Island, but I wanted to let you girls know... I def take pictures and report back! Have a great weekend everyone!

Well, all of the girls who are having their wedding at CLM, have no fear, everything was great! The food was very good, the room looked beautiful! The waiters were all very nice. There were only a few little things that I noticed and probably b/c im a picky and am planning a wedding. 2 things could be avoided, 1 could happen to any of us. The first is when we got there for the ceremony at 5:15, there was only one person doing valet, and we had to wait a while, not a big deal but could be avoided. The second thing is, my friend had her ceremony outside and the flowers in the pots supplied by the CLM were dead, again probably only noticed by me and FI. The one thing that could happen to any of us was that at two different times, 2 waiters dropped their trays with the entrees on them on the floor, I felt so bad for them, but CLM handled it very well, got it all cleaned up and continued to bring out the dinners very quickly.

FI and I had the sirloin steak and it was very good, they give you alot of food, my friend had the Chicken francaise and she said it was also very good. The cake had raspberry filling and yellow cake, im not a cake eater but FI loved it! They also had trays of cookies and pastries on the tables which were delicious! Thanks so much for the review!!! How was the cocktail hour?? I'm so excited for the yacht arrival... did the bride and groom come in the middle of cocktail hour? How did that work?

Also, do you know if their gazebo was decorated by their florist or did chateau provide that? Do any CLM brides know???

The bride and groom did come in for most of the cocktail hour, which was great b/c she got to eat and start her hellos. The cocktail hour was really nice.. There was plenty of food and it was very good. The room itself look beautiful as well.. I dont know about the gazebo, i could find out though..

CLM does not decorate the gazebo. You need to do it with fake flowers or have a florist do it. Mine charges $300.

I actually didnt have the frozen drinks, they looked good though.. Also, if possible i would ask your BM if its possible to not give out beer bottles, only b/c they were left on the tables for a while and im not sure if you want that in your pictures.. but hey whatever floats your boat! JMO
