FH got into a car accident

He is fine but his car is MESSED up. Unfortunately he rear ended someone due to the rain so it is his fault. There was a pathfinder, white car, and him driving and a light turned yellow. The car in front of him sped up an at the last mintue swerved around the pathfinder who slammed on his breaks and FH hit the pathfinder.

UGH. We SOOOO did not need this right now!

I am so happy that he is okay.

I realize that dealing with the car is going to be a pain, but it can be replaced...Good luck dealing with the pain in the a$$ insurance agents

Yes I of course am very happy he is ok, it is just a car. It just SUCKSSSSS because he bought it new and only has 2k left on it. Im thinking it will be best if they total it. Its a 2001

They will only total it if the damage is more than 80% of the vehicles worth. If they do total it they will pay off the remainder of the car and cut you a check for the difference.

I just got in from the rain, it's really bad out there. Be careful!!!!! I hate it when things like this happen, and always at the worst possible time too!!!! So sorry to hear about this, but I'm glad he's OK!!!

Jen, I'm so sorry. That is so aggravating. I'm glad he's okay. It's really bad out & windy & I'm just glad I don't have to be out.

I'm sooo sorry to hear about your FI's car accident....not a nice way to start the weekend...glad to hear that he is alright though. Can always replace a car..that's how I look at it!! I'm sure the insurance will handle it all....just hopefully it works in your favor. Good luck and glad to hear he's okay!

That is crazy. Glad he's okay. My dad just got rear-ended by another car an hour ago. He's okay, but has a bad back so he went to the hospital. This weather stinks.

That's awful

Glad he is okay though

I totally know what you are going through. FI and his nephew were in one of my cars when they were rear ended in the in April by a Penske Freightliner. FI was okay but has to go to the chiropractor.

That car was totally paid for & it was a total loss.

I was getting rid of it since I got a second care and had made up flyers to sell it that week. I kind of lucked out since FI and his nephew were not seriously injured and the insurance company paid me a little more than what I was asking
