Any suggestions for 125 people on a Saturday night?

Hi,

I'm having trouble finding a reception location with a minimum of 125 for a Saturday night. Everyone is telling me 150 as a minimum. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: Any suggestions for 125 people on a Saturday night?

We have around 75, and we got 75 minimums at:

Manor East
Stewart Thomas Manor
Milleridge Carriage House/INN
Verdis

Plus I think other places had 100+ minimums, but I can't remember them...

I went through the same problem, I had a small wedding I ended up booking the Sheraton for that reason I only had to guarantee 120 for a Saturday night. FM if you have any questions.

My hall, Glen Island Harbour Club, has a 125 minimum for Sat night: www.gi-hc.com It's in Westchester, but it's only about 30-40 minutes from Garden City. It takes me longer to get to Huntington sometimes

Re: Any suggestions for 125 people on a Saturday night?

I know that the Miller Place Inn does smaller weddings. So does the Three Village Inn. Although I'm inviting 210 people, we got our hall down to 125 guaranteed.

Re: Any suggestions for 125 people on a Saturday night?

Well Leonards has smaller rooms that can accomodate that amount. If you come across some places that ask for 150 and you can guarantee 125, ask if they can lower the minimum for you. I did that at my hall. Of course I am having a day wedding. Stewart Manor CC only requires 100 minimum, as well as San Souci I believe. You could also look into the George Washington Manor, and The Floral Terrace. All do one wedding at a time.

Re: Any suggestions for 125 people on a Saturday night?

We have the Oak Room at Jericho Terrace, and it was only 100 minimum. We will definitely make our minimum as we are inviting 180, and the room holds up to 160. You could see about that room. It is very pretty, and the whole hall is gorgeous! We're also having a Saturday night wedding.

Re: Any suggestions for 125 people on a Saturday night?

Trumpets ( it's out east) is really beautiful and it's more of a smaller venue. You should check it out. I wanted to have our wedding there but I have a huge family so we wouldn't fit.
