Past brides who had djs!! Please help!

My catering hall reccomends the folllowing dj's. Please provide me with any feedback.

Top Hat Entertainment
Bravo Sound

I got married at the watermill and they also suggested Body Rock as the DJ. My hubby and I went there to check it out. The place was really nice but extremely expensive. I felt like we would be paying for their overhead and it wasn't worth it. If I were you, I would suggest using a different DJ not recommended by the catering hall. We used a DJ recommended by my sister-in-law's sister and he was great and was practically more than 1/2 the price of body rock.

Since your on the topic of Dj's..... Is it me or is it a turn off when they talk really cocky about their business??? I get really turned off and haven't booked a DJ yet because of their sales pitch.

Don't know if you are able to use vendors outside out of those that are recommended, but if you are, we used FM Entertainment, they are vendors on LIW. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They were phenomenal and the best price I found as well!

BODY ROCK. They did my wedding last month and I still have friends and family telling me that they were the best DJ they had ever seen. AMAZING. I could not recommend them enough. My DJ was Anthony and the My MC was Mitch. They were by the best vendor I had and I loved all my vendors. Good luck

Also, just keep in mind about feeding your vendors. If we booked our hall vendors, they ate complimentary, and if we booked outside of their vendors, they ate at half price. We met with a very reasonable DJ that was not on our vendor list, but after calculating what it would cost to feed them, it ended up being more than what a higher priced DJ on their list cost.

I met with Body Rock and they were really nice! They have a very cool looking office too -- it's got movie seats that fold down

We liked Starlight Express a little better, but we would've booked Body Rock otherwise

I am not a past bride but I just went to my friends wedding and she booked Body Rock. They were HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! The MC was really bad, the music ok.

Prior to my friends wedding, I also went to meet with them to for my upcoming wedding and I did not like the fact that you could not meet your DJ until the day of. They do so many weddings, it seems like they are a wedding factory. The manager was also kind of rude. I don't know I just got a bad vibe.

TRY Doctor Dance, Ken is the owner is he really nice or Dash of Class, Mike is the owner.

We are using Body Rock They are GREAT!!!!! My sister had them, 2 of out frinds had them and one of are friends are using them next year. I have NEVER heard anything bad about them. They are amazing.
