Watermill: Menu Recommendations??!

Former Watermill brides or people who have attending weddings at the Watermill, I have to go pick my menu this Saturday and am totally clueless!!

Any menu items that you really recommend or ones that I should avoid??

How about appetizers, specifically chafing dishes?

Also...I'm totally overwhelmed with cake choices...which did you have? (I'm leaning towards white chocolate with raspberries)

Thanks!

spanakopita at cocktail hour and paella are amazing.

we had the nautical seafood boat and martini bar (additions)--both fabulous.

Our wedding cake was black forest--SO good!

All the food is great; you can't go wrong!

Re: Watermill: Menu Recommendations??!

I agree with Lana, you can't wrong with any of their food. I heard the muscles and eggplant rolitini were yummy at the cocktail hour.

As far as entrees, I had the chateabriand (sp?) and I heard that the chicken with mozzarella and asparagus was also yummy.

We were on a really tight budget, so we went with one of their house wedding cakes. It was so delicious. We had 3 tier yellow cake with cream frosting with strawberries and bananas inside. I'm not a cake person, and I absolutely loved this cake. We had it decorated with flowers. It was lovely. We also had the chocolate fountain and that was HUGE hit also. That was our only splurge.
