NWR-Need some prayers...Grandma

My grandma is about to through some surgery, a hysterectomy due to tumors w/in that is 99% cancer. Its a possibility she may not make it. She has become very weak and ill.
If she dosent go thru the surgery, her chances of living are slim and we will lose her by Dec.

Its her only option.

An option that may not go well.
Im so sadden by this since it just happened so sudden and being my only grandmother around......I wanted her to see our special day. She always looked as me as her favorite since I look just like her and was the 1st grandchild born. She would never admit it,only to me.

Need those prayers and in hope that she pulls through.

Debbie,
G-d works in mysterious ways. Having just lost my father last week I can certainly relate to how you must be feeling. I will pray my hardest that your grandmother has an easy and uneventful surgry with a full recovery. Prayers do work. Have faith in her and the medical professionals who will be treating her. Stay close with your family as in times like these, they will be your biggest source of comfort.

Try to be strong for her...she is probably scared too but will feel better knowing her favorite granddaughter will help her through!

I know where you're coming from..my grandmother is having surgery on Monday for cancer of the bladder & she's 90 and my only grandmother.

Prayers are with both grandmothers.

I know how it is to see someone suffer like that...My only grandma was diagnosed with Parkinson's & dementia 6 years ago...It was one of the hardest things to watch her suffer...Unfortunately the battle ended January 04, just prior to me getting engaged...I know how she would have loved to share that day with me...But now she will be there with my grandfather watching down on us & having the best seats in the house...She will make sure this is a day for me to remember

So sorry to hear about your gramma. I hope things go well. You, her and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. As someone who has no grandparents left, I know it's not easy. If you ever need someone to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, I'm here for you!!

debbie im so sorry to hear that- sounds like the surgery is the only option. people have hysterectomys quite often - so hopefully everything will go just fine.
