Place Card Tree

I am thinking of having a place card tree. What do you guys think?? I am thinking of having ivory color branches in a nicer vase...

I plan on doing the same thing the only question is where are you girls getting the place cards?? I think the regular place cards are too big...

My brother in law had one and they tied monogrammed cookies on each branch and the table assignments were on the back.

That is an awesome idea! I like that fact that it combines the placecard and favor.

Keeping with my fall theme I am going to cut out lef shapes for the placecards and hang them from the tree, instead of using regular placecards.

But one question, how are you going to put them in ABC order? Would it be easy for the guest to find their names?

I would start at the top and go down level by level. I guess that' the easiest way....

to organize the names.... I guess I have to figure something out...

Can one of the attendants from the Carltun help your guests? We had an attendant help our guests find their place cards so that there would not be a big messy traffic jam of people trying to come into the main room.

omg im doing the same thing!! i saw it in a magazine and loved it for a fall themed wedding...how are you doing the tree? where do you get everything for it? is your florist doing it?

I love the idea, but ultimately have decided against it. My Hall and Florist both gave me arguments as to why it would be difficult, so I'm going to stamp my plain placecards with fall leaves instead.

But I'd love to know how it works out for you -- good luck with it!
