Any grad student brides that work full time?

I'm starting a new job managing two group homes on Aug. 1.

I'm starting grad school in Phila. on Aug. 29.

I'm getting married on Sept. 23.

What is wrong with me?

Will I lose it?

Probably.

Anyone else?

I am/was. I took 2 classes the semester right before the wedding. And I am taking a summer class as a newlywed. It is do-able. Those are a lot of changes and events in a short period of time. I wish you lots of luck!

I teach full time and was a full time grad student last year. It was tough but o.k. In the fall I do my thesis. That Im worried about!

I will be going to grad school and working in november when my wedding is.....i dont think it should be that bad....

I hope not. I'm just really neurotic when it comes to school and it's my first semester in this school b/c I just moved... I don't want to make a bad impression. I'm just worried about keeping up with the work since I'll be away on my HM. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

I'm in a grad program on top of my 50-55 hour a week job but I'm not taking a class the semester of the wedding b/c I'll miss too many when I'm on HM.

I just finished the summer semester and am VERY relieved to be free & clear of school until 2006. I did it, but it was tough balancing that, work & planning the wedding.

i took classes both fall 04 and spring 05 while i planned my 8/14 wedding... but i took the summer off to really commit to planning, soooooooooooooo glad i did. i start back teaching and with grad classes on 8/29

I worked full time, took 9 Masters credits, and went to a personal trainer 3 x a week the semester before I got married, and school ended 10 days before our wedding. I was NUTS!!!!! But you definitely learn to multi task.

I am. I work full time (gotta do it) and I go to grad school also. Luckily I'm finishing my degree in Septmebr...one more class to go. Its been rough, I'll admit it. But I am so excited to finish in December. I know it will be worth it.
