Newlyweds- did you get any upgrades on your honeymoon?

I heard that on your honeymoon you should mention it and try to get upgraded to first class of a better room.

Did this happen to anyone?

I hear that when you are booking it you should not mention it until you get to the hotel or resort I guess I will find out next year

nope, nothing at all. When we checked into London, they didn't care. When we checked into Milan, they said, 'you're on your honeymoon?' We said 'yes' and they didn't say ANYTHING after that.

In fact, it seemed like a stewardess from British Airways tried to go out of her way to be nasty to us after we said we were on our honeymoon.
