Re: Anyone taking dance lessons?
We might do salsa/merengue lessons since we will have some of that music at the wedding. My sis wants to also and my mom just said she'd want to so we may all do it together! FI is already good at dancing, but it'll be fun to go together.

Tell him Amy says hello. John is great. My Dad has turned into a regular Salsa dancer thanks to him. We have our next lesson this Wednesday. We try to go on a weekly basis, it is so much fun.
Enjoy, and let me know how it turns out.

To be perfectly honest, i am scared! I am so out of shape, that I hope I can dance for more than 2 min! AND I cannot dance, I am embarassed to even show hi or my FH how bad I am!

You'll be fine don't worry. I really didn't know how to dance either and my Dad had never danced before and John made us feel really comfortable.

Re: Anyone taking dance lessons?
Our wedding is in December, I am thinking of classes the first week on November It's not liek we need 8 classes. 4 will do us fine. That way, it's still fresh in our minds.

I had my first lesson, and it was great. I really had a nice time, and it beats the hum drum of doing the same thing all the time (dinner and/or movie). I mentioned you, and he knew who I was talking about right away! He even said 'They're coming in this Wednesday' So, we're defiantly going to do it. Only once a week, but we have a year, How often are you going?

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. My Dad and I have been taking weekly lessons for about 6 weeks now. He and I will probably do about another 4 and then when my FH gets back from deployment we will take about 4- 6 lessons together. My Mom and Dad will start taking lessons together starting in September. My Dad is totally hooked on dance lessons now.

Re: Anyone taking dance lessons?
My mom wants to take lessons too. I told her she will have to give it to us as a gift because FH doesn't want to really take them, but if we get it as a gift, then he will have no choice! Is that evil of me??

That's how we roped my Dad into taking lessons and now he is hooked. I think it's a great idea.
