Different place card ideas

Please show me pics! I really don't want to do just numbers. maybe different flowers or something.... i need ideas

Are you talking about place cards, seating cards, or table numbers? In place of table numbers, we named each table after different oceans and bays we have visited. So on their seating cards, guests were directed to the 'Chesapeake Bay' table, for ex.

I guess I don't even know what I am talking about!!

But yes, the cards you pick up to tell you which table you're at... I would like the cards to be something different. And maybe name the tables instead of using numbers.

We did chairs and had a sign on the table that read... 'PLEASE TAKE YOUR SEAT'

That was confetti made out of our baby pictures. I ordered it from confoti.com it is $20 a bag... I ordered two bags and my hall made sure each table for the reception and the place card table were covered... I'm not sure how many were put on each table...

You can get the votive candles @ anywhere craft store, but you have to make sure you print them out on vellum paper. I tried regular labels and the ink ran!! Or you can have them made I asked Laura from LA Productions and her quote was pretty resonable (although I can't remember the exact amount!!!)

P.S. I also LOVE the littel chair cards!!!!!!

these were ours we put white, pink, and black m&m's inside!
we also held a sign at our engagement pics that said please take your seat and put it on the table with them

i love those little chairs around the favor for placecards, how cute! i might do that with a clear box on the bottom with persoalized m&m's inside with sheer pink ribbon tied around it. where did you get the chairs? i think i've seen them before, but i can't remember where. thanks~lacey
