anyone do a candy theme for their wedding?

I am pretty sure that I'm going to fill mini metal buckets with saltwater taffy for my favors, and I just saw these cute conversation heart placecard holders online. So I was thinking a candy theme would be kind of cute. Any other ideas for cute details, anyone? TIA!

ETA: I'd love to do a candy buffet, but we are already having dessert trays on each table with the cake, so I think the buffet would be too much.
