RP from NWR Board -- Help me out Moms!!!

My friend is looking for a large 1-bedroom apartment in Eastern Nassau or Western Suffolk. Preferably close to the LIE. She is a nurse and is expecting her 2nd grandchild, so these locations she prefers to be close to her daughter. She has 2 house cats. She is a non-smoker.

She has went through real estate brokers and is constantly looking on Craig's List. She is not entirely opposed to working with another RE agent. She just has had some bad experiences with being shown dirty apartments and doesn't want that happening again.

Wish I could help. We are renovating my FIL house now that we plan on renting. It has 3 apartments, but won't be ready for a long time yet. I plan on posting here when they are ready. Sounds like just the kind of person we would want to rent to.
