We didn't. I think they could get into trouble for accepting $.

Re: all-inclusive resorts....do you need to tip?

You don't have to...but we went to Mexico where the people don't make that much, so we tipped. Usually around $5 US for dinner. Have fun!

Even Sandals employees (and that chain has a 'no tip' policy!) accept tips if given.

definitely not! I've been to 3 and I only tipped when I got room service. some resorts flat do not allow tipping.

Re: all-inclusive resorts....do you need to tip?

We went to Secrets and ALWAYS tipped. You would be surprised how excited they get over just a dollar or two, we usually try to give at least 3 and if you give them a $5, forget it! My husband gave one of waiters $5 and everytime we walked by the restaurant he would come out and wave 'Hello my friend!' it was really cute.

They arent supposed to accept tips and you dont HAVE to, but since they were so NICE and tried SO HARD, how do you just get up and walk away? Its up to you, but I would definity tip for room service, you get more liquor in your fridge, better snacks, better service all around.

We wound up taking money from presents and changing it over to singles. We just kept the extra money in our room safe. If you plan on tipping, definitly change it to singles either when you get there or before you go.

Have fun!!!!!

Yes I tipped at the all inclusive I went to. It was very appreciated. I tipped for dinner, bellhops, room service, bartenders, etc.
