Hidden Pond Park in Hauppauge??
Does anyone know of this park?
Do you think they have suitable areas to take pictures before wedding ceremony?
Do they really have a pond?
TIA from a Jersey Girl who has NO idea about Suffolk County!

Re: Hidden Pond Park in Hauppauge??
From what I've seen of it, there aren't really many flowers there... and the pond is really HIDDEN... meaning you have to go thorough a lot of leaves and trees in your dress...
Bayard Cutting Arboretum is really pretty, it is in Oakdale. They do wedding pics (not sure if you have to pay a fee though)

Re: Hidden Pond Park in Hauppauge??
All I know about Hidden Pond Park is that its the site of the Rinx hockey facility, has Jazzercise and a large swimming pool. I've never explored it enough to see if there was an actual "park" portion of it, but from my very limited exposure, there isn't. If there are any Hauppauge girls on, they might be able to help....

I live in Hauppauge and it's a great site for going on a picnic or a nature walk. It's not really intended for taking wedding pics!! HTH!! FM me if you have any other questions!!

I live close by and in my opinion, I don't think there is anything scenic to take pictures there.

I agree with that...I grew up in Hauppauge, we loved to get "lost" in the woods there when we were younger, I wouldn't go there for pics, I did some at Oakdale Arboretum, was really nice there !!!!

That's where my guests stayed and my reception was right by the Arboretum--about 15 mins. Go right down Connetquot Ave.
