My 8-5-05 review VILLA LOMBARDIS, TIMEXPOSURES, SIR OLIVER, TOMMY TUNES,..

Ok ladies, 1st of all I want to thank LIW for such great ideas. I have become addicted.

INVITATIONS: American Wedding Album: I ordered my invites from them, I thought the paper was a little thin but beautiful. They were very promt, with delivery and no problems with typos, etc. I would order from them again, B

Reception: VILLA LOMBARDIS, A+++++++++ any future brides will not be dissapointed!!!! My banquet manager Charles, well he is like a god, I mean anything I asked him he did. Even If I didnt think they would do it, they did. THe cocktail hour, OMG I had so many people tell me they couldnt believe the amount of food being offered, or that all 130 had a place to sit during the CH. My captian walked us through the CH showed us what we has, then sat us at a table and brought over like 5 dishes of food for us to sample. Then my Maidre D ( spelling stinks) Steve, well I wanted to take him home because he was so accomidating, anytime I turned around he was there, to bussle my dress, get me a drink, light my cigerette, you name it he did it. I loved him, he alone gets an A+++. The dinner, well to die for. I think everyone took theres home, It was just to much to consume @ once. I went home w/ 4 huge trays of food. they even wrapped everyhthing so neat. I cant not express enough how absolutly wonderful Villa was. Our ceremony was outside and the flowers, the views everything just incredible.A++++++++.

DJ: Tommy Tunes,
Dominick, was so great. My grandma loved him and she doesnt like many... Anything I asked them to play or not to play the did. We had the violinst and pianist during the ceremony, they were awesome. We had there singer Jimmy during CH and everybody kept saying the coulnt believe how great he was. He mingled with the crowd, wasnt to intrusive just so great. A++++

Tuxes: White Tie in holbrook. C
Well at first all was good, we saved money because they have a deal with Villa, So that was good for the guys. Then the day before the wedding, GM go get tuxes and all were wrong sizes, lengths and even the wrong jacket. All the GM including my DH had problems except my brother. They fixed it thank god but none the less, 24 hrs before I dont need that.

Florist: Sayville FLowers
My family has been dealing with Helen for 20 years. She gave me a great price, then I get a call the day before and she tells me she mis-quoted me ont the price, $250 LESS, well can I tell you that made my week. Its only $250 but it came in handy the day of. The flowers were beautiful, she even gave the moms backup flowers because the crazy heat would wilt the gardinias. She is so nice, at no charge. A++

My Dress:
PARADISE BRIDAL FFFFF--------
Never again. I will never step foot in that store again. Nothing but problems.
1st they loose my dress, then they find it. they alter it get a stain on it, clean it.
MOH dress when ordered she had to get a huge size to cover her huge chest and then take it in. Well when it finally comes in( which they never tol us, we had to ask) it was like a circus tent...they seamatress say 'oh, she dont need to take in' WHAT she looked 9 months pregnant. 2nd fitting we wait for like an hour while they 'try to locate' the dress, then when they 'locate' the dress its
NOT done... 2 weeks mind you we had the appt. Then the pickup, Well heres where it gets hairy, we had an appt to pick-up a finished dress@ 4:30, we get there @ 5 and the damn thing is not done Well ladies this is when Bridezilla came out... I flipped out on the girl and made such a scene, 2 of my BM went outside. THey finally took some money off her alterations, which I still think isnt enough but whatever. STAY AWAY

Limo: Sir Oliver Limo, B-
My driver Joe was like the big brother we all want, He was our age, helped us all in and out, Held my dress during pictures and even scared a goose away before he walked accross my dress, DH guy not so good, 25 min. late, he didnt know where the house was, keep in mind I spoke with 2 people that day and gave them both directions to MIL house where DH was. Then he did know where the arboritum in oakdale was??? I thought that was strange. I mean we did great with the price, DH friend knows owner so we got hooked up.

Ok so if you dont know Jonathan, meet him... I love him, He showed up earlier just to catch those OMG shots. He made us all SO relaxed, toasted us before the evening, He is so nice not stiffy just makes you feel like some fancy runway model. We took pic before the wedding and that day I think might have been the hottest day ever, he kept putting us all in the limos at different times to cool down. He took pics during the ceremony, I didnt even know he was around. He was just so great, I cant wait for the proofs next week.

Headpiece & veil: Patchogue Floral
I bought a headpice from a LIW bride and It was great then my mom just bought another for kicks and it was the one. My veil was stunning( I think) It was so perfect for my dress. A++
