Atlantic City Q- repost LIF

Never been there, looking to get away for 1 night on a Thursday.

The Tropicana (standard, NOT the tower), or Atlantic Palace?

The Trop will cost us $150 (including tax) for the night, including a king bed, 2 free show tix, and breakfast.

Atlantic Palace is $140 (including tax) for a queen bed, BUT there's a jacuzzi in the room. (it's a suite)

Trop=larger, casino in hotel, etc.

What would you pick?
I've never been there, so I really have no clue.

TIA

Re: Atlantic City Q- repost LIF

I'm going for my first time this weekend, but just based on the facts, I would probably choose the Tropicana. You seem to get more for the money, even though you'll miss out on the hottub.

Re: Atlantic City Q- repost LIF

Ive been to both of them. Fh and i liked the a.c palace nice room and a good view but you have to go to the casinos. Tropicana beautiful its like your in vegas. Great places to eat everything. Rooms not anything special. Its up to you if you care what your room is like or not. I would go back to the tropicana.

Re: Atlantic City Q- repost LIF

We were there last month. I would say Tropicana. They just built a new section with restaurants and shops and it has a Vegas feel to it.

i went there last year for my 21st b day with Fi and we stayed at the tropicana and it was great! Its also near alot more casinos (like caesar and ballys) I think atlantic palace is a little further... i could be wrong though. We defiantely liked tropicana though and would go again!!
