Re: Registry Items
I think that depends on your individual preferences. For example, I love to cook so the kitchen aid stand mixer was a total must, along with the matching food processor, mini chopper, blender and hand mixer. I aslo registered for a really good set of knives and pots/pans.We both like to have parties so I registered for barware and fun serving platers etc.
Also, my fiance and I don't live together yet. We just closed on our house so I don't have a lot of things that I'll need for the new house like King Size bedding and a bath ensemble for the 2nd bathroom.
My feeling is you should register for as much as you want. Anything you don't get at your shower or for your wedding, you get to buy yourself after the wedding and you get like 10% discount. So it can't hurt! Plus, that gun they give you is a blast...enjoy it!!!!!

Just found this site with a checklist: registry checklistYou can also find them in a lot of wedding magazines. The stores you went to didn't give you any sort of guideline?
