Negative One Year Anniversary

Yesderday was my -1 year anniversary. My fiance and I got dressed up, went out to dinner and drank lots of wine. And all day long we kept looking at the clock and saying- a year from now we'll be on our way to the church or a year from now we'll be in the limo on the way to the cocktail hour, etc.

Please tell me that this is a normal thing to celebrate! Has anyone else celebrated/ plan on celebrating?

We didn't celebrate ours...but only because we booked the hall about 6 months before the wedding. But your day sounds very sweet!

Of course!!! For ours, I had just taken the NY bar exam a few days prior and we flew out to Napa for a week. We were there for our -1 year anniversary and went out for a great dinner! (though it's hard to find a *bad* dinner in Napa!

FH said that for our negative 6 month anniversary. We will only have been engaged 10 months when we get married and I was simply shocked that he even thought to say it.

We're calling it our 'UNniversary'and we're planning a vacation of some sort (if we can make up our minds, that is

)

Then starts the countdown: our last Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc before we get married.

did the same thing! we ate lobster cause that's what we are eating at our dinner!

We did not, but we were engaged for only 7 months. I think it is a great thing to celebrate though!

I told him we had to celebrate our 'anniversary', he's like, how can it be our anniversary yet?!

We had dinner at the restaurant across from our wedding hall and toasted to a year from today.

Totally would have (my parents talk about the party they had for theirs) but we didn't have one since we were only engaged 11 months! Yeah how fun!!!

we did the same thing... i even made a fake veil (spur of the moment) and walked around singing here comes the bride...
