Penn Station...Yankee Stadium

What subway can I take to get from Penn to Yankee Stadium? Last time i went I think we transferred like 3 times and I remember hearing that there is a more direct way to get there. I'm really not good with the subways so any details would be great!

Re: Penn Station...Yankee Stadium

You could take the E train to 7th ave and then take the D train. That's just one suggestion.

Re: Penn Station...Yankee Stadium

You can leave Penn Station & walk to 34th & 6th & get the D train directly there ( except during rush hour), or

You can take the 1, 2, or 3 train from Penn Station 1 stop to 42nd/Times Square, then take the Shuttle Grand Central & get the 4. That's probably what you did last time.

Thanks so much! The subway stuff seems so confusing! I think it would take me forever to get used to all the different lines!

Re: Penn Station...Yankee Stadium

You can also take the C to 155th Street and just walk across the bridge over to the stadium. People park there and do that all the time.
