Pretty proud of myself,...just wanted to share

So I dropped my resume off at a school district where an administator from the district where I live is now the Superintedent..

I walk into the Superintendents office and there is no one there..but I hear someone in an office within this office on the phone and its non other than the Superintendent..

So I wait for him to get off the phone and I knocked on the door and asked him if I could give him my resume. Then on the way out I say don't know if you recognize me but I went to Mineola...and he said yes I recognized you as soon as you came in.

I am just proud that I was able to assert myself to handing my resume right to him and also reminded him of who I was. Maybe something will come out of this

Not sure if anything will come of it but I was so proud of myself...I am usually not so assertive but I thought hell I need a job!!!!

So my mom was like do you think he was just saying that?? I mean I don't know why he would just say that though...I was very involved when I was in HS and so were my brothers...so I don't think he was just saying that he probably did remember my face..even though my hair isn't the color it once was

He really didn't meet with me though or discuss anything...I just asked if he could take my resume and threw in the part where I went to the district he used to work in
