Test for Pre-Cana! re-post

I just had to post this....
My FH and I went to these two FOCUS meetings that is required for our church before Pre-Cana begins. I have to tell you all that it was SOOOOO strange talking about our relationship in such a serious way! We had to complete a LONG questionaire and come back to talk about the results and how our answers compared to each others. I thought it was going to be so fun but I honestly felt so uncomfortable! There were questions like:

Will you feel uncomfortable being naked in front of your spouse?
Are you afraid of what your spouse may ask you to do sexually?
Do you have homosexual feelings?
Would you stay with your spouse if they cheated on you?

Did anyone else have to take a test like this?

Re: Test for Pre-Cana! re-post

We have to take it in September. I am nervous about taking it, but I think that it will be a good experience. From what I have heard it identifies areas where you & your FI have different views. Hopefully these will not be big issues, but will bring up subjects that may or may not have to be dealt with in the future. This is the person I will spend the rest of my life with and I want to be able to discuss anything (even weird stuff) with him. I hope you came away with something positive. Have you done pre-cana yet? We do that in October.

Re: Test for Pre-Cana! re-post

We already took the test and got our results back. I loved it. I thought it was very helpful. And I totally agree that pre-cana seems to be very helpful. The test brought up some issues we might not have otherwise talked about.

Re: Test for Pre-Cana! re-post

We took it also a few months back. I didn't really find the 'instrument' as they referred to it as helpful, but I am looking forward to precana, b/c I think that will be more beneficial.
