Question for wedding pics taken on a beach?

What do you do about your dress? Do you think it will get full of sand?

And what about the bridal party? Wont they get sand in their shoes........and if they take them off, its still gonna be a pain to get all the sand off.

I have the option of taking pics by a beach near East Wind but these are the things Im worried about. I dont want anyone getting annoyed with the sand......

Although I'd love to take them.......

Were doing it!!!!!!!....dont worry about the sand...I say everuone should kick off there shoes and hike up there dresses and go for it. You can always leave towels and water in the limo to clean off everyones feet after.

Re: Question for wedding pics taken on a beach?

baby powder gets the sand off too.

We arent doing engagement photos. we want to have a photo session a day or two after the wedding at the beach. we can get all wet and sandy and it doesnt matter.

Re: Question for wedding pics taken on a beach?

Originally I didn't want to take pictures on the beach b/c of the sand. Then I realized that I should take advantage of the beach location. The pics will look better in the sand near the water and as long as the sand isn't wet, it shouldn't really affect the dress. I told my girls to bring flip flops if they want. Either way, I told them they might not want to wear stockings b/c that would be a pain to get sand out of. I'll just bring powder and towels and we can clean our feet afterwards. I spoke with the Crescent and they told me most brides take pics in the sand and they just clean off their feet afterwards. I think you should take the pictures. Just be prepared with stuff to clean off afterwards.
